Ok. I've deflated my soapbox for the weekend. Which is why I will now share this:
I'm sure it's not new to most of you, but it's new to me (since I don't have cable and all). Whether or not it's new, it's DANG funny. Everytime I watch this something different strikes me as funny. Current fave? "Sometimes when I freestyle I lose my confidence..."

This clip is ten times funnier than the actual show. Lots of folks find Flight of the Concords the height of hilarity (my father being one of them. I was shocked) but it doesn't float my boat. White boys rapping badly however, ALWAYS blows my skirt up.
Haven't caught the show, but now I don't feel so bad about it. "Ain't no party like my nanna's tea par-tay!"
Of course, I've never watched Arrested Development which I can tell from your blog is a travesty which begs for redress!
